At Ten 20 Family Farm, raising high-quality pork isn’t just a business it’s a way of life built on generations of handson experience, education, and a deep respect for the animals and land.

I grew up on a cattle farm, where I learned early the value of hard work, responsibility, and what it means to care for livestock with integrity. Later, I worked on an outdoor hog farm—where I saw firsthand how fresh air, natural light, and space to move could change everything for the health and happiness of the animals.

I’ve also worked in modern confinement systems and studied Animal Science at Michigan State University, one of the top agricultural schools in the country. That experience gave me a solid foundation in animal nutrition, health, genetics, and farm management—but it also helped me see where conventional systems fall short and where we can do better.

At 1020 Family Farms, we blend time-tested wisdom with modern science to raise pork the right way. We grow our own feed, manage every step of the process, and give our animals the care, space, and nutrition they need to thrive. It's not just about producing pork—it's about doing what's right, raising animals with purpose, and feeding families with confidence.
