Meet the Farmers

The people behind your food—working with nature, honoring the land, and raising animals with intention.

Farmer Sidney

Operations and Logistics

Sidney is the hands-on problem solver and driving force behind the daily flow of Holland Legacy Farms. As the farm’s Head of Operations & Logistics, he manages everything from pasture rotations and infrastructure to animal care and on-farm systems that keep the entire operation running smoothly.

A former U.S. Air Force carpenter turned first-generation farmer, Sidney didn’t grow up in agriculture—he chose it with intention. What started as a backyard garden soon became a mission to raise food differently: with transparency, respect for the animals, and a deep commitment to nature.

Today, Sidney oversees the heartbeat of the farm. Whether he’s moving animals to fresh pasture, designing new setups, or teaching others through content and workshops, he brings passion and purpose to every task. His goal is simple—raise honest, nutrient-dense food and help rebuild trust in the food system, one pasture-raised animal at a time.

FarmHer Toryann

Sales and Marketing

Toryann is the welcoming voice and warm smile behind Holland Legacy Farms. As the farm’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, she connects families, customers, and local businesses with the pasture-raised food she and Sidney work so hard to produce.

Her journey into farming began with a passion for wholesome food and a desire to live with purpose. Coming from a career in eye care, she brought her people-first mindset to the farm—building relationships, educating new customers, and helping others understand why real, nutrient-dense food matters.

Whether she’s answering questions, packaging orders, or sharing their story online, Toryann makes sure every customer feels like part of the Holland Legacy Farms family. Her heart is in helping people reconnect with their food and the farmers who raise it.

Our Story

We didn’t grow up farming. In fact, our journey started in a tiny urban backyard outside Dallas, where two food-loving people just wanted to grow something real. What began as a small garden quickly became a spark—what if we could raise our own food, too?

After attending a homesteading conference, that spark turned into a calling. We realized the food system was broken, and we wanted to be part of the solution. So we traded the comfort of predictability for pastures, animals, and a whole lot of learning. With no generational farm to inherit and no blueprint to follow, we started from scratch—driven by passion, curiosity, and a belief that food should nourish both people and the land it comes from.

Today, on our farm in Honey Grove, Texas, we raise animals the way nature intended—on pasture, with space to move, fresh grass to graze, and sunlight on their backs. We believe animals deserve good lives, not just one good moment. That’s why we rotate them often, focus on soil health, and choose methods that honor both the animal and the land.

Every egg, every chicken, every lamb, every rabbit comes from hands-on care. And everything we sell is something we proudly feed our own family first.

Farming wasn’t our background—but it became our purpose. Now we’re committed to giving families access to honest, nutrient-dense food and showing what’s possible when you raise animals with respect.

This is our legacy.
And we’re grateful to share it with you.
